looking for a true 2-bedroom in prospect heights and curious if anyone knows good brokers specifically for that neighborhood? also curious about the safety of the neighborhood in general given the posts about recent assaults. my roommate and i are both 30-something women (1 white, 1 not).... thanks for any advice!

i would say its pretty safe. 1 robbery you read about. the assualt took place in crown heights which boarders ph. just be careful late at night like everywhere else around the city. and really also depends on the blocks you live. so best is to walk around the area to see which ones are safe and not. you know which ones instantly generally by walking around.

And what, exactly, does a "borker" do?

I mean, I think I've borked before, but I sure as hell didn't get paid for it!

That's because you weren't borking an apartment. Or were you?

    OK, dating myself, but:

    BLOCK BORK!

    BORK YOU DOORS!!!!

I was over in Park Slope yesterday. Every broker has at least two window ads for a place in PH.

Wait a minute. "Borking" means you're dating yourself? I guess that makes it easier to choose a place to eat when you go out.
