Met the owner last night - he's nice! I did however express my dissappointment that it wasn't going to be a bar. He said I wasn't the only one....great minds, eh?

Anyway- for his sake I hope he does well. Dunno- everyone I know already has a mailbox (except if one needs a separate one for their secret credit card bills listing all the pharmacies they patronize to keep their pill addiction going, ala Nurse Jackie). Computer services, fax services, etc etc.

He said I should stop by on opening day- I told him I would only if he was serving champagne.

Yeah, I'm curious too. I'm actually leaving the country for 6 months starting in October--but keeping my apartment--and have been wondering about how to deal with mail for a while now...want to check with the post office too, but this is much closer to my apartment.

I don't think there are any remaining package/mailbox places on Washington. This place could do well....

There is one- I forget the name, it's a chain of some sort. But it's there and open.

Mayday hardware does UPS and has some mailboxes for rent, but I only go there in a dire emergency. I can't say I need such places very often. I don't seem to mail people stuff very often.

The one on Washington is Away We Go...don't know if they have mailboxes but they do shipping, and also have two computers for internet and printing. I don't have a working printer right now so it was pretty convenient to print off a few things while packaging up some things to send...pricier than the library but less wait and just a tiny bit closer. You pay in 15-minute blocks and since I only used 8 minutes to print off stuff from my thumb drive, the guy said I could bring my receipt in next time to finish using.
