police pod gone

Walked down Franklin today and noticed the mobile police crane in front of Nam's is gone. When did that happen? It had been there since June, right?

Last week sometime? I noticed it, too.
I'm not sure exactly what the deal is. It's not the first time it's been gone for a few days. It may just reappear.

according to the discussion thread on I Love Franklin Avenue it's been since at least January 22nd since that is when it is first mentioned there..

i heard luke and Wedge Antilles used a tow cable to bring the Imperial Walker down in their X Wing fighter.

I heard they moved it to the PH/CH border to keep pussies from moving to this side of Washington.

I've been in the area for four years, and that pod has been in and out for 3 of them. They used to just put it there for the West Indian Day Parade, but last winter, after a sharp rise in area shootings, they put it there on a more permanent basis.

It was removed about 2-3 weeks ago... right after a narcotics raid just up the block from Nam's. Funny how they allocate resources for violent crime, and then end up using those resources for other things.

How does everyone feel about it being gone?

Once they get the padding replaced in the seat cushion and the DVD player repaired the long arm of the law will be wheeled back in place. Best part about it is that lots of locals are going to discover the pretty good store that has been hidden while the narc nest has been in place.
