Car broken into- 6th ave and 9th st

If you have a purple ford escape parked on 6th ave between 8th-9th streets (almost on the corner of 9th st) your back window is busted out. Might wanna go check it out... I have the license plate number if anyone needs it to verify

Don't keep anything of value visable..It is getting worse ..You hear about more car breakins all the time...

Ya, they're looking for portable GPS devices and other small electronics, don't even leave the dashboard or windshield mount visible, they bust in just to see if you were lazy and stashed it the glovebox or under the seat etc.

when i lived on 15th street btw 5th and 6th there were cars broken into almost every night for over a month, GPS always the target. it would happen late, like between 1:30 and 3 AM. we called the cops a few times, but the only description we could provide was "bipedal, humanoid, hooded sweatshirt." eventually they caught the guy (or bunch of guys) and the nightly glass-shatterings ended.
