Vintage car mechanic in PS or surrounding area?

This may be a long shot, but I'm hoping to find a good mechanic that can help me service my 70's Ford. You can't take these cars to just anyone. In the suburbs and less urban areas, there are often mechanics that specialize in classic cars including engine rebuilding, performance mods, restoration, etc.

I'd like to find one of those people. Where would you take your Smokey and the Bandit Trans Am (complete with gold fire chicken hood decal and quad 8 track player)?

Most mechanics deal with modern fuel injected cars all day and aren't versed in the nuances of a carburetor, 70s brakes, etc....

Anyone?

Thanks in advance.

Urban Classics14-18 Old Fulton St. At the bottom of the hill by the Ferry Landing. I think the newest car he works on is my 87 Landcruiser. Definitely enjoys his work. Not cheap, but we're not talking about saving money.

Great Bear on 4th Ave near 1st Street. The guy own vintage cars, including an ancient 50's Lincoln.

    nuances? :D

70s cars (unless they're some uber complicated lincoln or caddy with hydraulically operated-bits and cylinder deactivation ,etc.) are dead simple to fix. I'd be surprised if any mechanic can't get it working.
