Worst Experience at Baskin Robbins on St. Marks and Flatbush

I went here with a friend this evening just after seven and had an AWFUL experience.

It was the most awful experience I have ever had at a store.
We walked in, the employee got our orders wrong, and he snickered at us and pointed and laughed while we ate.

The only reason we went is because I had a free birthday scoop coupon, but he wouldn't accept my free birthday scoop coupon because "we do not accept this coupon here, because it is copied" (even though it is a print-only coupon.)

He then charged us for the wrong thing, and the ice cream had been in the freezer so long that it was freezer-burned and could not stay together. It was in bunches of little pieces.

Based on this experience, I, along with all of my family, will NEVER go to this location, and possibly any Baskin Robbins/Dunkin Donuts location again.

Spread the word about how awful this store is and let's show them that we won't accept such horrible customer service. Don't buy anything from them so that we can show them who runs this neighborhood!

I find that I routinely have to explain to them what a pint is and motion around the case to get them to find the peanut butter chocolate.

Customer Service in Brooklyn is almost non-existent...when it comes to franchises. There really is no where to go but down south...for politeness, customer service, and some attention.

That may be true, StoopLady, but this place is just RIDICULOUS!

I would like to see a real donut place come to the 'hood. I love bagels and all that, but sometimes I really want a yummy old fashioned donut.

I have been an employee in a variety a franchises over the years. There is really not incentive to provide any type of costumer service . I don't think this forum will have any effect.

    But this might....

i assume these are the same employees/management as the dunkin donuts there. awful. don't accept coupons (but of course don't post that policy anywhere), terrible service, dirty and understaffed. they once left the store entirely empty for 10 mins (at shift change) while they chatted outside.
