Helicopter fly at 11:55s pm.

Anyone here notice that. It is very loud and bothering. It happen few times in a month already.

Some say it could be a military and police To Conduct Nighttime Helicopter Drills. Some say it could be a terror act. 911 and the local polices do not know anything about it. If it is a drills then they have to tell us. Anyone know how to get to the bottom of this.

NYPD has a heliport at the Brooklyn Army Terminal.

NYPD Aviation supports NYPD and FDNY on the ground, 24/7. The helicopters have spotlights, FLIR (infrared) and night vision capabilities to help cops find fleeing suspects and firefighters to spot hot areas.

Nothing to worry about. Aviation was out the other night around 2am, allegedly involved in a car chase around Bay Ridge.

I have seen it and heard them at very late hours, as well as early morning hours. Maybe it's easier to chase suspects from the air?
