anyone been to the new VOLUSPA yet?

it's next to santa fe grill on 7th avenue between lincoln and berkeley place...

looks really nice and would be great to have a place in this part of the slope to catch a good haircut...

anyone been yet? says it's a spa too.

I went there last weekend, actually for a cut and and massage. Both were great!! I live a few blocks down so the spa is a great addition to the neighborhood. I believe the stylists name was svetlana. I have long hair and as many places as I went to, they kept cutting my hair the wrong way. She actually made a fantastic shape for me that suited me perfectly and kept the length!!! As far as the spa goes.. they did a fantastic remodeling job (it was a firniture store). The lower level is gorgeous and soo relaxing!!! I had a thai massage... it couldn't have been more perfect!! I absoultely recommend you go try out this place!

would love to hear from someone who doesn't work or own voluspa before i try it out.

I just went there, and got a great cut! I went to Dimitri and he was wonderful! So nice and very professional. I had been spending twice as much to get my hair cut in the city, so it's great to know that I can now get a cut that looks just as fantastic... right down the street. I highly recommend checking it out. (and I don't work for or own Voluspa. )

I think I might go and not get a haircut, but just kind of hang out and be social. That would be cool, right?
