trash pick-up Friday

ours gets picked up early Friday so cans are all out by this time usually. Tonight, none of our neighbors have put their cans out. I don't see anything about cancellations on the city website, but is there some snow policy I'm unaware of?

sometimes during blizzards they stop doing garbage pickup so they can do snow removal. Last big snow storm the mayor announced it. 311 might be able to tell you

Hopefully all people working sanitation are assigned to snow removal right now.

Yeah, I didn't put the trash out but this is the first time we've not had them pick-up b/c of snow, even on the first big day for plowing.

On the city's website it says trash pick up has been suspended 'cause of snow removal.

No trash pick up for us either. All the cans are currently buried in 3 feet of snow on the curbs, so everyone on our block is just leaving them where they are.
