2nd street cafe reincanated....? just a rumor so far....

think it's possible? not sure why if they couldn't make it across the street, they'd be able to make it in the much larger miracle space, but then again that outdoor area would be a big hit.

Blech, their food was awful!

Weird. I heard they renovated then went bust. I was only ever in there twice and do not remember it being great or lousy.

I thought the food was great at Second St Cafe, and I very much hope the rumor is true!

They renovated in order to get a liquor license... Moved front door to side street to beat the distance requirement from PS 321. I don't think it worked.

As for their food... Once complained that there was a hair in my food and the server asked me if I was sure it wasn't mine... and I'm bald. My friend ordered a hambuger there and it was chared burnt black on one side... Asked for a new one and they just took it back into the kitchen and peeled off the burnt part and brought it back out. Good riddance.
