anyone know what 256 5th Avenue was before? is that the old tempo?

this sounds cool too:

    Yes, 256 was Tempo (and earlier Cucina). I notice they're also tearing out the ex-Tempo Presto space at 254.

    judging from the article, it's going to be a restaurant and "on premise store" selling sauces, cheese, pasta, ready to eat meals, etc so i would imagine this fornino is taking up that entire space...

    pretty awesome i think.

    omg i LOVE FORNINO!!! I am SO EXCITED about this, their spinach pie is one of the very few things I crave in this city
