Long hair stylist in south slope

Birthday coming up, and considering having hair styled by a professional in the south slope. Any ideas? I don't even own a blow dryer so I figure by the time I buy curling iron, special brushes, hairspray, gel whatever is involved, it may be relaxing and even cost effective to just have it done. I have long hair that is wavy to straight, and I would like a more styled, wavy to curly look.

Thanks for any ideas! Slope Suds is right near me. Any experience with their stylists for this type of thing?

an awesome tattooed and pierced woman named texas has blown out my curly hair better than anybody ever, ever did it. and you'll smell really, really yummy. i'd trust her.
