Looking for other parents of kids with blood disorders

My five year old son was diagnosed with ITP three years ago. I'm looking to meet other parents of kids with blood disorders in Brooklyn to hang out, drink coffee and discuss treatment centers and options. Please e-mail me off-board. Thanks.

I didn't see a reply e-mail addy but have you tried starting a Meet Up group?

I guess guess you can't put the e-mail address so that it shows up as a button at the bottom of the post. People can PM me instead.

I actually don't spend a lot of time on the train these days, so the first time I ever heard of a Meet Up group (except for Howard Dean, anyway) was last weekend when I saw the ad. I spend a lot of time in Prospect Heights -- I guess I need to get out more. Is there a website? I'll check it out.
