    walked by today and the space is looking really awesome from what i could see. one of the construction guys said they should open with a month.

    i agree joe...the signage out front looks REALLY awesome!

    judging from what i read about the interior, it's going to look great....very much like schillers on the lower east side it sounds like to me...

    going to be terrific to have the attached shop for homemade pastas, cheese etc there too. can't wait for the opening!

    Fornino is SUPERB brick oven pizza and Italian fare. The best Spinach pizza you've ever had, I promise. I'm so excited they're opening in PS!

    Ooooooh, Fornino's the one in W'burg with its own garden where he grows his own produce, right? I remember going there ages ago when it first opened. I'm so glad that they're coming to Park Slope!

    OH YEAHHHH!!! Some of the best pizza I can remember! And I have to agree with the "once was good" status of La Villa....sad but true, they can't properly deliver a pizza to save their lives. Maybe the threat of Fornino's will whip them back into shape!?

    OMG--Michael is returning to his old digs! The Slope hasn't been the same since he left. He is a genius! He used to tease me about being vegetarian. My husband would go to Cucina to pick up some food for me and Michael would say "How about a nice steak?"
