Where to get my eyebrows waxed?

Okay, this is an urgent question. My eyebrows look like caterpillars and the person who used to do them has left NYC for greener pastures or whatever. Does anyone have a recommendation? I don't want anything crazy, just a little shaping. Prefer not to leave Park Slope but I will venture outside the neighborhood if necessary. Help!

Polish is pretty good, and cheap.

Yikes! No, that is not what I want. I could do that myself, if I wanted that look. But I don't.

    Where is Polish? where? where?

5th Ave and I always forget the cross street (park?) - across from Key Food)

Oh, yes, it did. I only saw the shaved-eyebrow look before -- that I could do at home. The final look was much better.

Is there anyone in particular I should ask for at Polish?

not that I know of - I got a pedicure there a few months ago and also got my eyebrows done - the woman did a great job. I should go back - I look like I'm in competition with dear Frida.

hi. i'm not familiar with polish - ?? - but Jo Hee at Element Beauty Lounge also on 5th Avenue about a block from Gorilla Coffee is excellent! Can't speak highly enough of her and the place is reasonably priced. (imagine!)

That's not waxing you're spying as you walk past; merely pedicures

The waxing goes on out back - where no one can hear you scream.

I too can vouch for Esther at Rom Pal. Know nothing of the threading, tho.

I should report back. I ended up at D'Mai on 5th Ave. The woman who did my eyebrows (whose name I'm blanking on) did an amazing job. I will definitely be going back there.
