looking for a place to play... pick-up, league, gym, etc...

I don't know of any all women's games in the neighborhood, but I play fairly regularly at Eastern Athletic Club and occassionally a woman will play pick-up with the guys. The best local outdoor courts are in the park on Bergen behind the police station and between 5th and 6th on Berkeley (I think Berkeley but it may be another nearby street).

The Eastern Athletic Club in Brooklyn Heights used to have a women's league but that club no longer has a basketball court.

I would bet that the new YMCA on Court Street has a women's league; you should check it out.
