can someone tell me about gossip girls?

thanks a friend from another country ask me about it and how they like the show and how is it compare the to real nyc .

i never watch the show, so i have no idea.

I've never watched it, but my assumption is that it compares to reality in NYC just as much as Sex in the City did. As in, I'm sure those people exist, but I've never met them.

never saw sex in the city either.

It's about as real a representation of NYC as "MTV Cribs" is a representation of America.

I am sure there are many people in Cali, but probably not too many with a convertible roof over their pool like Ice-T

It's so stupid its awesome. Basically the roles of adult/parent and child are completely reversed. The kids are always teaching the parents/adults 'lessons' on how to behave (Ha! I LOVE this shit, its so full of crap!). Oh, and then there's the underage drinking and sexing....so not based in (my) reality when I was that age. Then again- I never grew up stinking rich on the Upper East Side....

It's stupid TV fun.

They are all HOT... and they like prance around in their undies sometimes. It's a little taboo because they're "supposed" to be 16-18 or so, but of course it's ok because the actors are actually in their 20s.

I'm sure they are hot, but not going to gouge my eyes out to watch a soap in sheep's clothing.
