I can't speak for whether Garth is a shill or not, but I second his recommendation either way. They've treated me very well when I've needed help, and when they didn't have the capability to do what I needed (replacing the graphics card on my 3-year-old iMac), they said as much up front and directed me to somewhere else that did, rather than trying to find an excuse to charge me for the job and do a half-assed job of it.

I didn't go to Park Slope Computer repairs because my computer was infected with a virus at 6pm on a Saturday night. I DID go to the Park Slope Geek (Dave Chin) and he cleaned my computer and gave me tips about keeping it virus free, in less than 24 hours and for only $50.
