My husband, our friend, and I went to 5 burrows yesterday. It was jumpin', but not terribly crowded. The hostess sat us at a table outside, brought us chips, water, and menus, and left us on our own. 15 minutes and an empty chip bowl later we were all waiting for someone to acknowledge our presence so we could order. Instead, 2 of the wait staff, presumably on their breaks, sat at a table on the terrace near the door, while the one staffer not on break, stood at that table chatting. We got up and left with no one even seeming to notice that we were there, didn't order anything, and didn't pay for our chips.

Is this usual for 5 burros, or were they having an off day?

There food is AWFUL. The service was great, drinks ok but the food, oh man. SO bad.

I went during the winter. I liked the food a lot, but we decided to go during a blizzard for some reason and I could barely move by the time I got inside I was so frozen. Not worth treking over for me, but it was good.
