Moving to Brooklyn in July; where drop off moving materials?

My boyfriend and I are moving to Brooklyn this July (yay!), and we were curious to know what suggestions you might have about dumping boxes, packing materials, and bubble tape. We won't have a car. Any thoughts?

Thank you!

The boxes you can tie up with twine and leave for recycling pickup. Most packing material can probably be recycled as well.

I'm not sure what bubble tape is; is it the same as bubble wrap?

After you've unpacked, post a new message on your neighborhood board on this site and on freecycle. Someone may be able to reuse your boxes and bubble wrap.

Yes, please post here and craigslist. People will gladly come pick-up your stuff. If that happens to fail, you can put it out for recycling.

Great idea on craigslist! Will do.
