Noise on Sterling

I am looking at an apartment on Sterling between Franklin and Bedford. I have visited a number of times and it seemed reasonably quiet. Anybody out there who lives on this block who can tell me whether the block is intolerably noisy? Thanks.

Just the snapping of tree branches til all hours of the night might keep you awake!

Photogirl, this is a noisy block. This is also the block where the guy who kills trees lives.

Thanks for the response MHA. I have read about the tree guy, but am more worried about the noise. Can you tell me whether noise is all year round; on weekends; day/night; mostly in summer; etc., and what the source of the noise is. Trying to figure out whether I can deal with it or not. Really appreciate the help.

Since they kicked all the squatters out of the dilapidated building a couple house towards Franklin from La Renee, it's been quiet late night. Of course you don't want things too quiet. I'll take some noise and people chilling over an abandoned block anytime. Plus, if you're not sleeping on the street side of the apt. you won't here shit anyways.

It's a great block aside from Tree Killer X
