New Greenwood Flower and Gift Shop on 4th Avenue

The former Ph Fruit & Vegetable Supermarket on 4th Avenue b/w 36th and 35th will now be a flower shop. Finally!!! The facade for Ph was mess and vacant for the last few years. I'm glad a new business is coming to the nabe! They tore down the old sign Friday night and had some pots out this weekend. Glad to see this section of 4th Avenue clean up!

Agreed...and not to be morbid, but they picked a prime location.

There's also a flower shop on 4th around 22nd or so, I went in there and asked them if they were open for business, the place was so sparce. What's the deal?

Unfortunately something fell through for the Greenwood Flower and a new awning is up for Sunrise Deli Cafe instead. Don't get too excited...it's not a cafe by any means. More like another bodega with pizza, the New York Lottery, and subs.

Just what we need, another bodega for this strip of 4th Ave.
