    The Mac Support Store
    168 7th Street between 2/3 Ave.
    2nd Floor - Buzzer 20
    Brooklyn, NY 11215
    718-312-8341

I have used them for two different iMacs.

They do very good work, at reasonable prices.

However, they are not especially quick, and are completely indifferent to any pleas for urgency.

Good luck - my friend's dog spilled water on her MAC and Apple couldn't retrieve anything. I was going to say that they honor AppleCare but if you spilled water that won't be covered - and you can bring it to Apple - but they'll charge you.

    Good luck.

If it is just water, you may want to unplug it for a couple of days and wait for it to dry then try to turn it on...I've seen various computer equipment come back from this sort of thing before...

my cat spilled water on my macbook and killed it. i had back up data, and sold it for parts on ebay. the thing about water is that if you don't even attempt--not once!--to turn the computer back on for a few days you *may* be ok. even half a second of power can kill the machine.

any mac authorized place will notice this, not just apple. that said, i always go to tekserve

Agree with the above. Also, if it's a laptop, immediately remove the battery, even if the computer is off. Same for cellphones that get wet.; remove the battery and let dry for a few days.
