    I guess they are going for maximum population density, income levels and cost of owning a car in comparison.

    The overall population of Manhattan is much smaller than that of Queens or Brooklyn, but I'm sure the concentrations of people with disposable income but priced out of $1000+/mo in car expenses is super high in comparison.

    Yeah, they'll get out here at some point. Next summer, maybe.

    I am waiting for the day one of these companies starts doing the Zipcar kind of thing for a higher class of cars. Baseline membership is like $100/mo or whatever for Toyota Yarises and Ford Focuses.... I would gladly pay $200-300/mo to be able to drive BMWs and stuff. There's a niche that hasn't been tapped into yet.

    CTK- Zipcar does have BMW's and Volvos (cool ones, not the ones yer mom drives).
