Van Blasting Pledge of Allegiance?

Hi. About a week ago, my roommate and I woke up at about 5 in the morning to a van parked outside our intersection at Henry and Pacific. The van stopped and BLASTED a recording of a chorus of young people reciting the pledge of allegiance, followed by an emotional rendition of 'God Bless America.' Then they just sped off. They may have just been stopped at the light there, but I'm pretty sure they just stopped the car specifically to play their horridly loud recordings. Anyone else heard this before??
