Can you grill anywhere in or around JJ Byrne Park?

I'm guessing the answer is no, but I feel like I've seen people grilling on the sidewalk along 3rd St., outside the fence. It's not near any structure, but somehow I doubt that makes it legal. Anyone know if this is allowed?

Grilling on the sidewalk is illegal and given the City's current state of impecunity, I imagine that there will be a lot of tickets being handed out for illegal grilling. I have certainly noticed a significant decrease in sidewalk grilling in my neighborhood. I checked the http://www.nycgovparks.org/facilities/barbecue website but I couldn't find that park, if it has another name check it out at the parks website.

That's a negative. Walk up the hill to Prospect Park.
