A friend of mine has been working for corcoran for a few months.

tonight she tells me that the parkside stop on the Q is in prospect heights.

I vehemently disagreed.

Apparently, my objections will not change corcoran's point of view.

Who is Corcoran? They must be holding their map upside down. I suppose they could say that it's "just across the park" from Prospect Heights.

When I lived in that area and there was a violent incident (happened quite often)
, news reports would usually refer to it as "Flatbush".

"Little Haiti" would probably be most appropriate.

Brokers have no shame. They just outright lie and think that if they say it enough it will become the truth.

I was like, why don't you just call it park slope then, it's just as accurate.
    or hell, call it Boston.

if I had to rate the most unscrupulous occupations I would say

    #1 general contractors
    #2 insurance brokers
    #3 real estate brokers
    #4 public adjusters
    #5 mortgage brokers
    #6 lawyers

interesting how they are all connected with the real estate industry

Your Corcoran friend is delusional. Most of the current listings for Prospect Heights on their website seem legitimate, but there's a place on St Johns Place between Nostrand and New York Ave. that exceeds even the elastic definition of a PH that extends east to Franklin.

I know people that hate on local pizza joints they've never been to.

Pizzatown is not a "local pizza joint." It is an abomination that only someone from a place with no pizza tradition could love. And it is in neither Prospect Heights nor Prospect Lefferts Gardens, nor does it have anything to do with this thread about lying brokers.

So back to the topic at hand...

seriously. If we are going to write about lying brokers, we will have a huge thread....

    lots of material.

Pizzatown may be related in that it is neither pizza or a town.

Since when are we talking about the topics that are indicated in the name of the thread on this board? Please!

I shall mention a stroller shortly.

I shall ban your stroller, and insist that people who feed their children Kraft products are superior to those who feed them organic food.

....I shall then state that gentrification is either horrible or wonderful, depending upon my mood. Ditto hipsters.
