yoga spanda is an effort to create commonality through movement and music. we use a vinyasa yoga warm up while listening to the sounds of soul, funk, hip-hop, and more... we take the mats away and then begin our journey deeper into the floor, using the yoga as a springboard for understanding our relationship to gravity through footwork (six step, cc's, etc.), freezes (baby, arm balances, etc.) and more upright movement (uprock, toprock).

requires no experience, just an open mind.
