with fast food!

In the past to destroy other countries you can starve them to death. but the new colonial way is to fatten them up to a point, where they are so over weight they can't fight back.

american style fast foods spread through out the world.

Actually I'd argue that many developing countries are decent at resisting America's awful fast food cuisine.

We're killing ourselves before we do so to everyone else.

See, you've already been devoured, digested, re-programmed and otherwise assimilated by the beast.

Careful, the story line of most of it will put you on the road to financial, social, family, auto and pet-loving ruin.

Ingenious, when you think about it.

When I play my heavy metal Iron Madien records backwards, I heard the devil speak.

When I play my country music backwards,
    my pickup truck starts
my wife gets back together with me
and my lost hunting dog is found.

I agree with Armchair. Who needs weapons and soldiers when all you need is some Jesus and KFC.

I don't know if this is a conspiracy to destroy the world, or fatten it up, but it definitely is the objective of agribusiness to fatten their pockets. I read "The Omnivore's Dilemma" a few months ago and it makes clear that with the subsidizing of the farming industry to grow corn, that enables it to be cheaper to feed cattle, poultry -- and pigs. That makes meat cheaper, as well as milk, which enables the U.S. to export meat and meat byproducts as well as milk and milk byproducts to other countries which cannot compete with U.S. government subsidized foodstuffs. Check out that great movie, "Life and Debt," which very comprehensively describes how the Jamaican economy was destroyed by the Caribbean Basin Initiative proposed by Ronald Reagan and signed by Edward Seaga, the then Prime Minister of Jamaica. One of the things I noticed while in Jamaica last year was the prevalence of obesity. It wasn't this bad a few years back, but when one goes into the typical Jamaican supermarket these days, all the goods are packaged, and 'infused' with sugar and milk solids. It's a travesty. Anyway, I say this all NOT to point a vindictive finger at the U.S. It is what it is. All countries must act on their interests, and that is exactly what the U.S. did for American farmers.
