Here is the scenario:

You have been car camping for 6 days with your immediate and extended family. All of the good food has been eaten. You are tired and hungry. It is 12:30 in the afternoon, and you did not have breakfast.

You are about to consume your 8th peanut butter and jelly sandwich in a 6 day period.... As a result of these circumstances, you decide that you will consume THREE of the above FOUR choices.

Which of the above items will you NOT consume?

You can assume you are yourself, or that you are Whynot.

Discuss.

Answer provided on Tuesday. Sorry, there is no prize.

yeah, but (since I can assume I am myself, and not whynot) I could see/smell if the brats were off. all that sugar and beer undiluted by protein might make me yak anyway.

You also have to factor in the fact that you are very hungry.
...it is hard to feel full as a result of warm Coors Light, Marshmallows, and Twizzlers.

Note: I have not stated my choices yet. I have simply caused people to think deeply about the profound question I have posed. The voting and comments should continue.

....I constantly look to my Brooklynian peers for advice, even in retrospect..

You're camping - catch a wild animal and cook it over an open fire. If it gets really dire, see: Donner Party.

In your case, substitute "Bartles & James Wine Coolers" for "beer."

I agree. I'd smell them. If they smelled ok, I'd cook them well-done. I like beer, but do not consider Coors Light to be in that category, so I'd forgo the warm swill and eat all the food. Unless the brats smelled bad, in which case the Coors would I guess have value as water at least.

Coors Light or any Light beer just out of principle. Believe it or not, any rotten food which is cooked isn't deadly. It might give you a stomach ache, but if it's cooked thoroughly, it is edible. Light beer however, is liquid shit no matter what the situation.

Whynot also has politics that are quite opposed to the "Pro-life" Coors family.

....but will often consume products produced by evil companies if they are free.

Park rules prohibited the hunting or consumption of park animals.

Small relatives (nephews, nieces) were in theory available for consumption, hence the presence of "strawberry" twizzlers.

The chocolate and graham crackers used in making s'mores was already long gone. Only marshmallows remained.

    Last Friday's Lunch consisted of:

1 Peanut butter and jelly sandwich left over from the prior day's hike
    3 sticks of "strawberry" Twizzlers.
3 raw marshmallows straight from the bag

and 1 bratwurst cooked over the coals left by the folks that got up early to go hiking.

I was using idlewild's logic regarding the beer and bratwurst, and was assuming that the bratwurst was precooked by the factory to a level that it would not be readily attacked by germs.

    No stomach ache was obtained.
