new crepery

The new crepery (am I spelling this right?) opens on Monday night in the old Brown Betty space. I talked to the owner and her son a little Saturday. I think it's gonna be nice, I'm excited, we can have crepes, drinks and dessert all within a block of our house. (well, maybe three blocks)

My wife and I tried it last night, it was very good, a perfect addition to that corner. The crepes were perfectly cooked, nice fillings and a small salad on the side. A quick, cheap, light meal and then across the street for a glass of wine. Highly recommended

I went this morning. Super friendly, super tasty. So far so good.

Where was the old Brown Betty space?
And what is the name of the new crepery?

Crepery is called "Mago" and is located on Grand Ave between Fulton and Lefferts Place.

Are they only sweet crepes or dinner/savory crepes? (meat.cheese,veggies etc)

If they're serving them with a salad, as Kevin mentioned, I'm sure there's savory and sweet.

Too bad menupages hasn't picked them up yet, if they had a jambalaya crepe like my favorite crepery down south I'd be in heaven. If I walk by this weekend I'll take a pick of the menu to post here.

They have both savory and sweet. We just tried the savories, don't know what the sweet ones are served with though I saw an almost empty bottle of Nutella on the counter

The ham and cheese crepe with fresh squeezed OJ was awesome!
