Hourly Movers

GF and I are moving to Park Slope this month and were wondering if anyone can give us some information on good hourly movers who are not expensive. We will be driving our moving truck to the area and will need help unloading into our 4th floor apartment. Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

    I personally used College Educated Movers twice and was really happy with their price and their services. They were terrific.

    Meant to post this in the other semi-recent discussion on just labor for moving and not actual truck needs... if you look on the U-Haul website (the 4th Ave location) they offer labor separately from truck rental. Seems to me that it is good to get laborers with the backing of a company like that in case something goes wrong.

    they hire the movers as sub contractors and half the time they are just like day laborers so there is NO extra insurance and all on them or your furniture
