Thanks to everyone who signed the petition. It's been an unbelievable success.

We've got a DOT plan to completely transform the intersection. We've got approval from Community Boards 2 and 8. And we've got funding from Councilmember Letitia James.

But here's the beauty part: the DOT is going to upgrade the whole Washington corridor, from Atlantic to Eastern parkway. We're talking bike lanes, curb extensions, rational road striping, improved pedestrian crosswalks--it's all pretty amazing. The plan should be up on the DOT's website soon.
