Q Train?

does anyone know if the Q train is running on the weekends again?

Take the N or shuttle bus instead
Weekend, 12:01 AM Sat to 5 AM Mon until May 8 & May 20 - 22

So... I guess that this means that they're running this weekend but not next?

normal this weekend but then out of service again next weekend (may 20-22).

My e-mail notice from the mta says no Q this weekend.

I spent a lot of wasted time last night dealing with the J shuttle because I thought there was no Q.

excellent - i think they should just say NO trains at this station this weekend. i even read the sign in the station friday morning and then sitting here today i have no idea what it said. i couldn't remember if i was pissed about the express train being out this weekend, or pre-pissed about next weekend.

fyi, ny1 just reported that the Q isn't running this weekend. so we aren't the only ppl confused.

Hah! I don't think it's running normally though. Coming home last night, about 6 Ns and Rs went by while Mrs. C and I were waiting for the dowtown Q at Times Square.

there's a bus that stops on classon and prospect that goes straight into w'burg, though it comes only once every half hour or so and i'm not sure what stops it makes

yeah. painful. arecibo is the better option at this point. 2 hrs of bus travel on a sunday v. 15 minutes for 15 bucks? er yeah.

But the 4 isn't running between Brooklyn Bridge and Atlantic Ave on weekends until Fall 2006. And it goes local between Brooklyn Bridge and Grand Central on weekends until then too.
