Helicopters circling over Eastern Parkway and Washington?

Please tell me it isn't what I think it is

The largest parade in the United States?

Not bigger than New Orleans Mardi Gras parades.

We've been here all afternoon and saw them going up and down the parade route. But, they were much lower starting about 15 minutes ago and seemed to be circling around that corner.

But, maybe/hopefully I'm just imagining things.

helicopters do not always = murder.

I know. I probably read too many Brooklynian posts about helicopters.

Someone was shot (Probably related to the helicopter being discussed):

and someone was stabbed:

Unfortunately, this is pretty much a yearly occurrence.

Now people are getting shot simply because we discuss helicopters. This is pathetic. We've gotta watch what we type.
