New Restaurant on Washington - sorry if I missed it!

Anyone know anything more than is written on Brownstowner?

There's a new restaurant coming to 669 Washington Avenue, between Prospect and St. Marks. Not much details on the type of food, but there was a good sized bar visible and it looked like construction was close to wrapping up. Perhaps this will be a good spot to fortify before a night of steampunking a few doors down.

Is the storefront that used to be occupied by WAMA (Washington Ave Merchants Assn)?

....I'm glad something is moving in there, that site has been vacant for a long time.

this is the phantom coffee shop that has fooled so many of us in the past, i'll wager. anyone feel like digging up old threads? i think i "discovered" it once, but i know i wasn't the first.

ETA: never mind. just looked at the picture, and it isn't the phantom coffee shop after all.
