Sandwich Shop Sampling Soiree Wed. Sept. 15th

Just wanted to let folks know that the new sandwich shop on Nostrand, Syd's Serious Sandwich Shop, is going to be having a "sampling soiree" tomorrow, Wednesday Sept. 15th between 11:30 am and 1:30 pm, and between 4:30 pm and 6:30 pm.

Amongst the offerings to be sampled will be a turkey hoagie and a cheese steak sandwich, as well as a few sandwiches made on various toasted breads.

ADDRESS: 759 Nostrand Ave. (between Lincoln and St. Johns ).

Anyone know if Syd's is open for business yet?

Yes, I walked by a couple of days ago and they were open for business with a sandwich board outside advertising a Cheesesteak special.

This place is yummy. I finally made it there today, and planned to take 1/2 my 12" steak and cheese home, but ended up eating the whole thing there.

....if you are sports fan, this place and Super Wings are excellent choices.

I guess you could be merely hungry, and not into sports, as is my case.
