Helicopter?

Anyone know why a chopper's been hovering over the south slope for the last 20 minutes?

There were a lot of copters in the area this AM, probably just assessing the damage from yesterday's tornado. Or check gothamist's map to see it any police related incident happened.

From the park it looked like news copters, most likely for the storm damage.

One has been circling over me for a couple of hours it seems! Take your pictures and go home, copter!

It's right overhead (8th Ave and 1st). It's clearly the end of the world [-o<

Supposedly some of the whirly birds are out surveying the damage pattern to determine if it was a tornado or just a bad storm.

tornado = federal assistance

bad storm = bad storm

why do we need federal assistance... NYC government can screw up storm recovery all on its own.... we dont need any help from the idiots in washington dc
