what is with the fireworks just now on bergen and hoyt?

Anyone see/hear those...my god, like grucci bros level. what gives?

I was wondering the same thing last night. At first I thought that perhaps the Mets had won a game, but that was not the case. So, I am still curious as well.

Her family lives at that intersection and the firework remnants were like these festive colored ribbons...maybe it was her birthday?

Evening all,

Whilst passing near Hoyt st, near baltic st. on Thursday night i heard some loud bangs. Don't know if it was fireworks or gunshots.

just wanted to know if that was a regular thing round these parts.

I think about 8 gunshots. Several police cars followed ten minutes later. I read nothing in the news.

soundes like gunshots to me... about 8-10 times in a row. Policecars were patroulling afterwards. But maybe someone shot a gun to celebrate and police came? Anyone found out?

There was a huge firework display over the harbor last night around 7pm. No idea what they were for though.
