Fighter Jets

Has anyone else been woken up by the fighter jet circling above us at 3am? Does anyone know what the deal is?

is THAT what gave me the showy nightmares, with the dog attacks and the pandemics and so on?

That sounds more like a post-reaction to watching Jersey Shore than having a jet's ambient noise becoming part of your REM. I'd work on the viewing habits. 30 Rock is pretty safe.

i'm clean on that count, promise. the pandemic thing i guess i can blame on rereading a margaret atwood novel recently.

3:24 am. Woke up to the sound of jets and helicopters making a lot of noise for about 20 minutes. Couldn't get back to sleep. My sleep is more important than anybody's visit.

I heard them as well. Right at 3:30 there a really loud acceleration. Could tell right away it was a fighter jet.

yes its all because of the UN and the jerk in the whitehouse is visiting....

seriously, how am I supposed to be able to call him a Beltway Bandit if he is out meeting with stakeholders?

I saw them during the day last week- they were pretty cool. Don't get to see that every day...

That was for the US Open. The last time I saw so many fighter jets circling the Slope and PH was when Bush visited Ground Zero.

Yes, I thought I was dreaming -- it woke me up too! Incredibly loud. I actually thought for a moment something bad had happened.
Why did they have to be there at 3:30 AM? Dude... bizzare.
