Lets assume that you are morally opposed to Facebook and/or Google, then the logical next move is of course Brooklynian. At any rate I call bullsh!t.

Poked my head in and the lady there said that they will be a cafe and market.

Not exactly sure what the beginning rant was about, but thanks nonetheless. I actually spoke with the owner the following day and found as well.

Hey Gross, I actually got here via Google. This is the first result. I was curious, too (and their website is not public yet).

Nice to hear there is a cafe and market coming there.

They have a Facebook page set up, where they've been posting updates:

Last one on Monday said, "Thanks for the encouragement! We're hoping another 2 weeks for construction and then the waiting game begins for city inspections. But we'll be sure to post updates as things move along!"

I checked it out a few days ago and I think it has potential. There wasn't much in the way of things to buy but the space is pleasant. I was there on one of those really cold days and it was nice to sit in an airy but warm place. I bought a decent baguette and some delicious little cookies. Coffee is Stumptown.
