What's the story?

I don't know the entire story, but I read the following on this local blog. It belongs to Bergen Street bet. Brooklyn & New York Avenues' block association.

Negative. Police observed a man with a gun. When police approached the perp he pointed the gun at police and police fired at perp. Nobody injured. Perp arrested after a short foot pursuit and search of the area.

Any time there is a police involved shooting there is a large response and the area is treated as a crime scene.
