Auto Shop Reco

I have a Check Engine Light on my 93 Toyota Land Cruiser.

Anyone recommend a good shop in the neighborhood ? My regular shop in the city is closed for renovation.

I've used Vanderbilt garage at the gas station and didnt have good experiences. But that was under the previous owner Bill. I see that they have new ownership. Anyone used them?

I also need to get some front-end work so a good reco/ referral will be much appreciated.

In that same light, anyone know a god car audio shop where I can take a radio to be installed ?

There are 2 places that I trust and are willing to work on my 87 Landcruiser. Minh Auto on 3rd and 15th Street and Xcell auto repair at the bottom of Old Fulton Landing.

for front end work go to Long life Truck and suto Spring 39 st/ ft hamilton parkway they are the best and dop alot of repairs on city trucks
i can recommend Ridge complete auto on union and third for general auto repair

I have had only good experiences with Nok Auto on St. Marks in PH. Recently my check engine light was on. Found out it was a hose that needed replacement and was only charged $40. He has done other work for us and I find him to be a smart and honest mechanic.
