You can donate your books at any time to the library, hospitals, some shelters etc...

I tried to donate a few years ago, but they told me they had to stop taking Garfield books.

i just leave mine someplace when i'm done reading it. I assume someone comes by and picks it up and takes it to read. Part of the natural cycle of a books life.

OK, so i missed this - my Saturday turned mega busy.....does anyone know if the library accepts donations outside of this event?

Yes they do! I bring my books there all the time!

It is only at the main branch, or do the local branches take them too?
