Found: Black Cat on St. Marks b/w Flatbush and Carlton

Last night about 7pm, I spotted a black cat on St. Marks b/w Flatbush and Carlton. He/she meowed loudly and let me pet him/her. I couldn't find any collar on the cat. I came back with a plate of cat food to feed it and it wolfed the whole thing down, which left me concerned that it's a lost cat.

If the cat isn't lost and is owned by someone, I really feel uncomfortable with the fact that there's no identifying info, the cat was clearly hungry, and could get into trouble with people driving like maniacs in the neighborhood or even on Flatbush! I couldn't take the cat home as we have our own that would probably have fought with it, but I hope someone cares for it soon.

I could lend you a cage to keep her in while we look for a new home. I cant take any more cats right now . and we can get her on a van to fix. Pick her up!
