    I thought I was pushing my luck by asking the interview him in the first place. I thought the moment may have been lost if I asked him to step away.

    Thank you for sharing this. I loved it. I would love to hear more stories from those who have lived here more than a decade or two. I hear stories sometimes from a few folks who have lived in our building all of their lives (and they are in their 60's). Its amazing to hear people's lives in relation to a neighborhood constantly changing.
