basis foods?

hey dudes,

wondering if any of you local peeps have had any experience with this new CSA / Fresh Direct hybrid thing called "basis foods." here's the website :

apparently, they drop off on that gallery on 17th street as well as some other joints down in park slope proper.

i gotta say, it looks pretty awesome and I've actually already put in an order for thursday, but just wondering if i'm one of the only ones in the hood partaking in it.

i always wanted to do a CSA, but could never deal with the weekly commitment. these guys seem like they're gonna allow me to jump on and off when i want to. but maybe it's too good to be true.
