M-80 on Seventh and Lincoln?

Did anyone else notice an explosive-type sound roughly equivalent to an M-80 or blockbuster at 5:00 am this morning (May 19)? It woke me up this morning and, when I looked out the window, I noticed a good amount of smoke. But then I rolled over and went back to sleep. Anyway, just curious about what it might have been.

I'm not crazy.

That certainly accounts for the smoke

It could have been a truck backfiring.

OR it could have been thunder and right when the OP looked out the window, a couple teenagers were doing bingos right under him and hence the smoke.
