As part of the Daffodil Project--a 9/11 living memorial organized by New Yorkers for Parks--Kensington residents will plant daffodil bulbs around Church Avenue (between McDonald Avenue and Coney Island Avenue) and in other public spaces.
Meet on the northwest corner of Ocean Parkway and Church Avenue (by Parkway Pharmacy), rain or shine. The more bulb-planting helpers the better! Children and families are welcome to join in. Bring garden gloves and shovels.
