Experience Woodlawn’s magnificent landscape when the leaves are at their autumn peak!

On Sunday, October 24 at 2:00 p.m., join Friends of Woodlawn for our annual AUTUMN LEAVES TOUR, showcasing thousands of breathtaking trees, including several "Great Trees of New York” and a variety of new species donated by Million Trees NYC. Situated on the northernmost border of the Bronx, the historic cemetery is one of the best spots to witness the most beautiful colors of the season.

Led by author Edward Sibley Barnard and Woodlawn tree expert Bernie Glinski (whose family has cared for Woodlawn’s trees for 40 years), the tour will feature the Cemetery’s most spectacular and unusual tree varieties, including European Cut Leaf Beeches, Umbrella Pines and Japanese Cut Leaf Maples.

Tours are $10 per person, $5 for seniors and students, and children under 6 are FREE. Tour groups meet at the Jerome Avenue entrance (near Bainbridge Avenue, across the street from the last stop on the #4 train), The Woodlawn Cemetery, Webster Avenue and E. 233rd St., Bronx, NY 10470.

For reservations (highly recommended), contact Brian Sahd, Executive Director, Friends of The Woodlawn Cemetery, (718) 920-1470, [email hidden].
